Highly inspired by the original song, the Dutch dj/producer Arcando is bringing back the throwback vibes with his massive drum & bass cover of arguably the most iconic rock song of all time: The Killers - Mr. Brightside. Successfully harnessing the electric pop rock atmosphere of the original song, while giving it an extra round of energy accompanied by Livingston Crain’s distinguishable vocal work, the cover is set to be one of the most interesting DnB releases in the late 2023.
After going viral on TikTok and reaching millions of views with his drum & bass directed content creation, the release of ‘Mr. Brightside’ officially kickstarts Arcando’s transition into drum & bass, after years of producing a wide range of different genres of electronic dance music. The cover release is serving as a teaser to his highly-awaited official remix for Two Door Cinema Club’s mega hit ‘What You Know’ (700 million streams), which is set to be released in the early 2024.
Drawing influence from real-life instruments, the 24-year-old dj/producer’s innovative sound has amassed over 175 million plays collectively with official remixes for superstars R3HAB, Cheat Codes, Grey, Flux Pavilion, Sofia Carson & Tritonal and single releases on A-list labels.
Coupling his electric productions with over 200.000 followers across all platforms, Arcando’s strong social media presence has attracted the interest of the major DnB labels, besides landing him brand endorsement deals with well-known music & audio companies JBL, Cymatics, Output and more.
