Wild Cards kicks off Future Generation's 2020 with "It Girl"
Wild Cards debuts on Future Generation
As our first release of 2020, we’re excited to welcome the Canadian duo Wild Cards to Future Generation for not only their first release on the label, but also for the first cover release on the label. Their debut FG release is a fantastic rework of Jason Derulo’s hit song ‘It Girl’, which sold platinum/gold in 6 countries. Their version gives the original pop/R&B love song a catchy & uplifting dance pop/house-ish twist, while maintaining in a lovely way the emotional feeling of the original track. It Girl also marks Wild Cards’ 1st release with their new style, shifting from their past melodic trap/future bass-is into a more dance pop influenced direction, while still maintaining the ‘Wild Cards touch’ in all of their productions.
