The Ukrainian born, Portugal-based, 23-year-old Elvis Drew is a highly intriguing name in the electronic/alternative music scene. The talented singer/songwriter and producer has up to date been focusing on self-releases, while amassing a surprisingly engaged fanbase around him at this stage of his career. His singles ‘Where Are You’ and ‘Not Enough’ has especially become popular among the Spanish alternative music channels on Youtube, propelling the two releases into 7M collective streams on Spotify and Youtube. His music has also received the approval stamp by some of the top electronic music tastemakers in the industry, by receiving support by the likes of Trap Nation, CloudKid and WaveMusic to name a few. The coolest aspect of Elvis’ music is that regardless the lack of support of a label or some bigger official features on the DSPs, his catalogue is boasting nearly 500k monthly streams on Spotify. And this is only a starting point for the emerging multi-talent, as he is gearing for his debut on the rapidly growing record label Future Generation with his single ‘Fake Promises’ at June 4th and the forthcoming EP release at September 10th.
